Johanna spent nearly two decades as an esthetician, instructor, and international brand educator. She watched the same problems repeat themselves at every studio, every classroom, every trade show: clunky booking tools, no real client memory, intake forms designed for lawyers instead of skin specialists, and zero intelligence helping pros do what they already do best.
She tried every tool on the market. None of them were built for her. None of them spoke the language of beauty. None of them used AI in a way that actually mattered to a working professional.
So she did what founders do — she partnered with someone who could build it. Johnathan is leading product at PathLLM.ai, shipping AI-powered platforms used at scale, and has spent his career taking products from 0 → 1 across global media, news, ad-tech, and AI. They'd been building together long before ProBeauty AI had a name.

Johanna is a licensed Full Specialist, esthetics educator, and founder with 18+ years inside the beauty industry — from the treatment room, to the classroom, to the trade show stage.
She built and ran her own studio (The Skin Studio by Johanna), trained the next generation of professionals at McDouge Technical Institute and IECSA Institute, and represented some of the industry's leading brands — Satin Smooth (Conair), NaturaVerde PRO, and PECOSA — as an international educator and brand representative.
She knows what beauty pros actually need because she's been one her entire career. ProBeauty AI is the platform she always wished existed — and now she's building it for everyone else.
